Dakota Edinburgh Hotel South Queensferry

The staff were friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. the rooms had a modern and stylish look, with comfy beds and a lovely bathroom. the breakfast was absolutely delicious, truly a proper breakfast. We also appreciated the convenience of having a Tesco right across the road for any last, minute needs.

The hotel had a modern and stylish decor, which I really enjoyed. the room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a huge TV. the bathroom was clean and well-maintained. I also appreciated the thoughtful touch of having bottled water in the room.

There were a few negatives during our stay. the parking was tight and we had difficulty finding a spot for our large car.

Modern design & decor was fantastic. Friendly staff that provided great service on late check-in. Room service was tasty & convenient with a good selection. Bed was comfortable & slippers were a nice touch. Wifi worked well & breakfast had plenty of options.

The hotel is conveniently located close to Edinburgh airport, making it a great choice for travelers. It is also close to a big grocery store and a Tesco shop, providing convenience for guests. The staff were extremely helpful, providing assistance with taxis and even providing a cot for a baby.

The lack of proper lighting in the rooms made it difficult to read or see anything without using our phone torches.

We had a wonderful spontaneous stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel. The staff were extremely helpful, polite, and attentive. Our room was cosy and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. The restaurant facilities impressed us with their nice decor and design, and the food and drink options were of high quality, albeit a bit pricey. We had a fantastic dining experience, with prompt service and delicious meals. this place exceeded our expectations and we would definitely consider staying here again.

In terms of improvements, it would be ideal if the hotel had more atmosphere in the executive bar and offered earlier table availability for formal dinners. Additionally, having a bath in the room and a spa facility would enhance the overall experience and make this hotel even more exceptional.

The monsoon shower in the room was absolutely amazing! It was so refreshing and felt like a spa experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the hotel, including the bar and restaurant. The hotel also went above and beyond by providing water bowls and a dog bed in the room for our pet. The staff even reserved a table for us in the lobby during breakfast so we could bring our fur baby along. I had a great stay at Dakota and would highly recommend it.

I had such a great stay at this place! The location was perfect as it was close to all the accessible places I needed to go to. The staff are all excellent, especially the waiter who was very accommodating. The room amenities were great as well, with the room having heating and air conditioning. The airport shuttle was free, which was a huge plus, and the staff were fantastic and were happy to help with any request.

I highly recommend this hotel for everyone looking for an amazing stay!

Stayed at Dakota in December for a weekend getaway. The room was amazing and comfortable at a great price. Dinner was delicious with the best cocktails ever, especially the cosmo made by Ben. The design of the hotel is awesome, with a great interior and a futuristic exterior. Staff were helpful and nothing was an issue. Will definitely be returning.

The hotel had excellent transportation services, including an airport shuttle for early flights. The location was convenient for visiting nearby attractions, including Dundas castle. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
